This online webinar marks the second of two events introducing the consultation version Scottish Planning Biodiversity Metric (SPBM). This event will provide a more detailed look at some of the technical components of the metric including risk multipliers and will continue to explore the key differences between the SPBM and the English Statutory Biodiversity Metric. There will be a short discussion on how the tool is expected to be used in the context of the Scottish planning system. Overall, this event provides a fuller introduction to the consultation version SPBM, allowing participants to engage better with the consultation, as well as helping prepare for potential future use of the tool.
