Bristol University and the Early Careers Special Interest Group of CIEEM invite you to join us on Tuesday 14th October, 5.30–7.00pm for an evening exploring careers in ecology and environmental management. The event will be chaired by Athena Allen, convenor of the Early Careers Special Interest Group.
A panel of five professionals – two from private consultancies, one from the public sector, and two from environmental NGOs – will each give short talks about their career journeys, sharing how they entered their roles, challenges and highlights, and what their work involves today. This will be followed by an open Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to ask questions directly to the panel. The evening will conclude with drinks and snacks, providing an informal opportunity to network and gain insights into a variety of environmental career pathways.
