Description

Miscommunication can be a source of conflict with clients and colleagues alike, from misinterpretation to lack of communication leading to misunderstandings.

The aim of the session will be to explore communication with different audiences and formats to maximise efficiency and minimise challenges. Conflict resolution will be explored along with methods of managing this.

This short webinar will be suitable for ecologist and environmental managers at different stages of their career as we all need to communicate effectively, regardless of whether you have just started your professional journey or are an established practitioner.

About the presenter

Gabrielle has been working as an ecological consultant since 2005 within Scotland, England and Australia and is the Managing Director of SWT Ecology Services, a profit for purpose wholly owned subsidiary of Surrey Wildlife Trust, and Chair of the Wildlife Trust Consultancies. Through her work she strives to embed a high standard of communication with clients and colleagues alike. By adopting a collaborative and pragmatic approach she aims support her clients throughout the project life-cycle.
