Getting Comfortable with Making Reasonable Adjustments - Webinar

Summary

Reflecting on the State of the Profession Survey results where disabled employees noted their adjustments being misunderstood/not implemented, we as CIEEM are offering a session on how to embed adjustments in practice.

This webinar, facilitated by Simply Equality, will provide tangible ways of supporting your disabled staff and how to navigate those conversations so that you have an agreed understanding of each other to thrive at work.

Due to the sensitive nature of this webinar, it will not be recorded and will only be available to CIEEM members.

Description

This 60-minute webinar will explore why organisations should make reasonable adjustments for disabled staff, the kinds of adjustments that can be made in practice, and what to do when things go wrong.

The session will include a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A, drawing on practical insight, lived experience, and real workplace scenarios.

The webinar will focus on helping organisations move from awareness to action through practical, constructive support. The session will be co-delivered by PK Kulasegram and Sarah Stephenson who bring significant professional and personal experience of disability, workplace adjustments, and organisational change.

Questions can be asked in advance, please email training@cieem.net and during the session through the Q&A feature.
