Summary
Join this webinar to learn how sequentially enhancing the same habitat over time will maximise biodiversity units while minimising land-take.
Description
This approach of ‘stacking within Biodiversity Net Gain’ is a practical way to sequentially enhance the same habitat over time, maximising biodiversity unit generation while minimising land take.
When a habitat reaches its target condition, the BNG Provider can bank the units generated, reset that condition as the new baseline in a second metric calculation, and then enhance again to generate more units on the same land (with the appropriate legal agreement updates). This enables BNG Providers to master-plan for Nature, restoring and enhancing habitats over 30, 60, 90+ years, especially to create and enhance high and very high distinctiveness habitats for the long-term.
Join us for this webinar to learn all about this approach with examples of how it works in practice.
