Marie Louise Heffernan is a Chartered Environmentalist and a full member of CIEEM, bringing 30 years of experience as an ecologist to her work. Dedicated to preventing biodiversity loss, she employs a multifaceted approach that includes education, legal actions, and practical biodiversity projects. Marie Louise also has interests as an alternative energy developer, specializing in wind and solar solutions. Her work aims to integrate ecology with sustainable energy practices. In addition to her professional endeavours, she farms in a special area of conservation with her husband in Connemara.
