Description

Biodiversity net gain has been around for a while now, and will become mandatory for many types of development in England in 2023. This conference provides us with an opportunity to learn from the experiences of those who have been involved in delivering biodiversity net gain as early adopters or proponents of the approach.

How confident are we that we can really deliver net gain? What has gone well? What are the problems or risks associated with the delivery process and how have they, or are they, being resolved? What are the key outstanding issues that need to be addressed before BNG becomes mandatory? Can BNG work for marine and agricultural environments?

The conference will be taking place at Millennium Point and we will be using the Auditorium and Platform area. Take a look at this video for a virtual tour of the venue.
