Description

Event Leader: Jono Leadley, Regional Manager (North) Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

The reserve already has a wide range of wildlife present. The restoration has been carefully planned to maximise the wildlife value of the quarry. Using knowledge gained from the restoration of sites such as North Cave Wetlands, the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust has been able to work with the quarry operators as the quarry has been restored.
