Invasive Species Field Visit


This event, organised by the Scottish Section Committee, will comprise a walk from the Botanic Gardens along the River Kelvin to Kelvinbridge identifying and discussing the most common and problematical invasive non-native species.


Event Leader: Dr John Fowbert MCIEEM CEnv, Jacobs UK

Aimed at beginner-intermediate level, the walk will take place along Glasgow’s River Kelvin, starting outside the Kibble Palace (the circular glasshouse) and ending at Kelvinbridge on the Great Western Road. All are welcome to join for drinks and informal networking afterwards.
