Ireland Environmental Law Workshop


The solicitor-led lunchtime Intermediate to Advanced level online workshop on Friday 11th December will deal with recent Irish and CJEU case law. There will be a Q&A session with experienced legal personnel.


The annual legal workshop will be held with McCann FitzGerald solicitors and led by their in-house experts on Environmental and Planning Law, the Habitats Directive, and litigation in respect of these. This lunchtime event will include an update on recent case law (including key Irish and CJEU cases) as well as providing the opportunity for the usual extended interactive Q&A session with the legal personnel. It will be run as an online Zoom workshop on Friday 11th December, following the format from previous years, presentations followed by a Q&A session.

Participants are asked to provide some key questions for the Q&A discussion in advance of the workshop. Questions should be sent to (cc elizabeth@CIEEM.Net) by 13th November.

Who Should Attend?

Attendees should have experience of the application of Irish and European wildlife /environmental legislation in the course of their work as practising ecologists/ environmental managers. Suggested attendee membership grade = Full /Fellow and Associate.
