Biodiversity Metric V3.1 Training

This course is based on the Biodiversity Metric V3.1 (Natural England, 2022). It provides training on undertaking metric calculations for a development and its direct impacts on habitats. It also provides training on utilising Biodiversity Metric V3.1 to support designs of Biodiversity Net Gain both on and off-site. This training will be covered by three 3 hour online Zoom sessions.

Please note that this course does not cover details on designing Biodiversity Net Gain for a development, or the River and Streams component of Metric V3.1 or on Habitat Condition Assessments. Other CIEEM training courses are available on these aspects.

We understand that Natural England will be hosting a consultation on Biodiversity Metric V3.1 and an updated version might be released later this year.
