Session 2 05 October 2023 10:00 - 13:00

Who Should Attend?

This course will be suitable for any environmental professionals involved in planning or undertaking Biodiversity Net Gain assessments. Delegates will include ecologists / geomorphologists / conservation managers or project leads in public, private or NGO sector organisations.

It does not assume or require prior knowledge of river/stream theory or training, however it will deliver the greatest benefit for those with an awareness of Biodiversity Net Gain and BM 4.1.

The course is designed to be complementary to CIEEM’s Biodiversity Net Gain course and the Watercourse Condition Assessment training course provided by Cartographer, but nether course is a requirement for the other one.

This course will welcome a diverse mix of disciplines in delegate groups to encourage awareness of the benefits of taking an interdisciplinary approach to integrated (ecological/geomorphological) assessment.
